An upbeat profile of 60s' Australian rock star brothers Colin & Denny Burgess (of AC/DC, The Masters' Apprentices, The Throb fame) as they attempt their big comeback against overwhelming odds.

The Comeback Kings was completed in October 2002, and premiered in August at the 2003 Melbourne International Film festival. It also enjoyed a full house preview screening for invited guests only at Sydney's Valhalla cinema. The film is currently being released to international film festivals around the world, and was screened twice in late February in Berlin as part of the European Film Market accompanying the 2003 Berlinale (Berlin International Film Festival).
